This 2500 square meter mega center is devoted entirely to contemporary living. Browse through the compound of galleries featuring emerging artists' controversial paintings, designer furniture, and video installations for a mere 6 euro entrance fee.
MiFair is a contemporary art fair showcasing Italian and international art work that takes place in early spring at the Fiera Milano Fairgrounds for the past twelve years. Collectors, gallerists, artists, museum directors and curators travel around the world for this annual event. There are four sections- modern, contemporary, art&co, and arte prima- that bring together experimental work from emerging artists with historic avante-garde creations. A lively program of conferences and discussions encourage interaction and exchange between those in the art community. In addition, each year another country in the world is chosen to take part in the Guest Nation Project. China and Netherlands have both been honored with this role, to examine their unique and contrasting art culture.
