Armani Giorgio
One of the most renowned names in Italian fashion, and indeed the entire fashion world, Armani is a success story that has maintained its independence, and the unique voice of its founder, Giorgio Armani. Trained in medicine, Armani got involved in fashion after working at a department store, and later for Nino Cerruti. He set up his own label in 1974. He is widely credited with creating a new look for men's suits, making them more relaxed, comfortable, and unstructured. For women, he created the androgynous power suit, and set the world of fashion abuzz with creative, comfortable and understated fashion for the working woman, and the subtly seductive woman about town.
The Armani brand is known for its use of sportswear design sense, subtle colors, luxurious fabrics, innovative fabric blends and a flowing, unstructured, yet impeccable tailoring. Armani is the favorite of Hollywood gliterrati and corporate clientèle alike.
