I own a BMW R1200 GS in the USA and one in Rome, Italy. I have been riding motorcycles for many years, and in my youngest days I traveled all over Europe up to North Capp in Norway, in North Africa across the Sahara and in the Middle East. Ok, I'll stop bragging about it also because I no longer feel like taking long rides on a bike or with a car. I now enjoy my BMW's a lot, and I try to see as much of Italy as I can when I am there.

I am still editing this page however...anyway, while I am talking about my past my friend Alberto is having a glorious present: he just left Rome on August 5 2006 to reach Tibet Crossing Turkey,South of Iran, Pakistan, India and then Tibet and back...he should be back in Rome around the end of October.
