(ANSA) - Rome, February 7 - Extreme weather conditions gripping Italy are taking a toll on the country's wildlife, as well as its inhabitants.
Sightings of the once-endangered Apennine wolf near inhabited areas have been reported in the Dolomite mountains.
In Central Italy near the town of Filettino in the province of Frosinone, a pack of wolves was sighted near an elementary school, sparking concern.
