Italian Facebook user base growing

(ANSA) - Rome, August 30 - Facebook's user base is growing in Italy with 24 million users accessing the platform monthly and 17 million daily, the popular social network said on Friday.

Of those users, 69% access the platform through a mobile device, or 16 million monthly.

Facebook also notes that 73% of Italian users access the platform daily.

Globally, mobile users are growing, with more the one billion users visiting the social network daily, Facebook said.
