Roma culture doesn't justify begging - judge

(ANSA) - Turin, May 19 - Roma culture does not justify begging, a Turin judge said Friday, sentencing a Rome woman to 10 months in jail for begging with her baby daughter in her arms on the outskirts of the northern Italian city. The little girl's father got the same jail term. Both sentences were suspended.
