SOCCER: 'GREAT NIGHT' AGST REAL, 'DINHO
(ANSA) - Milan, November 2 - Ronaldinho is looking forward to another great Champions League night against Real Madrid after Milan's thrilling 3-2 win at the Bernabeu two weeks ago.
''I'm expecting a great night from all the players (at the San Siro Tuesday),'' said the 29-year-old former European Footballer of the Year.
Another win would virtually clinch qualification to the next round for the Rossoneri, who have clicked into gear after a slow start to the season and are now up to 4th in Serie A.
Ronaldinho, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2005, looked a shadow of his former self in his first year at Milan but is growing in strength and confidence.
The only thing still missing from his arsenal, he acknowledges, is his old ability to bamboozle players and home in on goal.
But he aims to change that.
''I know, I'm providing more assists at the moment, but I want to get my own goals too''.
''For the time being things are like this. I'm glad to help my teammates score. I'm happy now, I've had the time to do some hard work''.
Coach Leonardo, whose only headache for Tuesday is whether to start Pippo Inzaghi or Sunday's matchwinner against Parma, Marco Borriello, said ''it's a very positive moment'' and he expected ''a match worthy of Milan-Real''.
The rookie Brazilian said he was ''very, very optimistic'' that Alessandro Nesta would recover for the match.
Also on Tuesday, Juventus are aiming to seal qualification at Maccabi Haifa and lift morale after a 3-2 home defeat to Napoli that left them trailing seven points behind Inter Milan.
Inter, 2-0 winners at Bari Sunday, are likely to be without Sulley Muntari, Thiago Motta and Wesley Sneijder for Wednesday's crucial game at Dynamo Kiev, but will have Mario Balotelli back after a cold.
Fiorentina host Debrecen on the back of a fine 3-1 victory over Catania.
