Interior of romantic Italian Restaurant

In the 17th Century the customs office of the Papal State was located on Via Garibaldi in Trastevere. The office received the taxes for grain, and the customs officer decided to establish an old-time snack bar, which would provide bread and wine for the many peasants who came to the office.

The curious name Antica Pesa was given at the end of the 19th Century, when its original function of a customs office was superseded by it's present life as an inn. Very soon the inn became famous throughout Rome, thanks to a wonderful bowling alley where the best players of Trastevere challenged each other. Today, one century later the bowling alley has been transformed into a splendid garden where summer evenings are spent.

Hi, I was in Rome about 10 years ago and went to a restaurant with strolling musicians and it
was in a cave or tunnell underground. My son is going to Rome in October, and want to recommend he go there, but cannot remember name. Does anyone know the name or location of this restaurant?

I was in Rome about 13 years ago and went to a place called the La Rumpa near the Spanish Steps. It was the beset place I ever was in Rome and I was there twice. However, I could never find it again. I knew it was a secret place, but has anyone ever heard of it or knows if it's still open?
