Weather forecast for Florence, Italy

Florence has a temperate climate with hot and humid summers and moderately cold winters. The temperature can drop below zero, although usually the snowfalls are few and infrequent, while in summer, some days can reach 35 degrees. Precipitation is concentrated mainly in spring and autumn. Due to the poor ventilation caused by its distance from the sea and sheltered position by the surrounding hills, the average summer maximum temperatures are much higher than those that occur generally along the Tuscan coast (about 4-5 degrees). In contrast, in winter, minimum temperatures can drop a few degrees below zero.
